But the first part basically creates a small correction factor sensible to port size, but it's constrained , its spread is limited by using a grow function like log that you can change later on by changing the base. Larger your port less point here and of course leser your more correction factor but it is quite constrained. That correction factor is multiply by the daily grow amount (more amount + point, less amount - less point ) and even further multiply by your change in % daily growth.
