Description

Pieces of April stars Katie Holmes, Derek Luke and Oliver Platt. Holmes plays an outcast who wants to make peace with her estranged, conservative family, especially her sick mother. She invites her family for Thanksgiving, but keeps her Jamaican boyfriend out of the picture. Written and directed by Peter Hedges, the film is a 2003 dramatic Sundance entry.
