Dylan McDermott is best known as the star of the ABC series The Practice. A graduate of Fordham University in New York, McDermott first appeared in 1987's Hamburger Hill. He also appeared in the 1989 hit Steel Magnolias and in 1993's In the Line of Fire. It was through Eastwood that McDermott eventually met with the president of David E. Kelly productions and landed a role on The Practice as Bobby Donnell. McDermott continued to appear in movies like Three To Tango in 1999 and Texas Rangers in 2000.
