Gina Gershon began her career with a slew of bit parts in popular, and sometimes notorious, films. Small roles in Pretty in Pink, Cocktail, and The Player boosted her resume and got her noticed. But it was her larger roles in Melrose Place and the infamous Showgirls that made her a name. In 1996, Gershon's role in the Wachowski brothers film, Bound, brought her critical acclaim and an audience. Her more recent films include The Insider, Driven, and Claire's Hat.
