Description

Metropolis is an Japanese anime action film distributed by Sony. Based on the 1949 comic book written by Tezuka Osamu, the film unfolds in a distant future city called Metropolis where humans and robots live separately. The story centers on an anti-cyborg detective and his sidekick who search for a rebel doctor who creates a beautiful android girl. The film is directed by Rin Taro and written by Katsuhiro Otomo.
