First trailer for The Spectacular Now

A24 has debuted the trailer for the coming-of-age romance The Spectacular Now [SPNOW].  Miles Teller [MTELL] stars as a popular high school senior who gets dumped by his girlfriend.   Shailene Woodley [SWOOD] plays a socially-awkward girl from the less popular crowd.   They striek up a friendship that turns into a romantic relationship with all the ups and downs of first real love.  After winning the Special Jury Prize for Acting at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, The Spectacular Now will open in limited release beginning August 2nd.
