Paramount has revealed five clips of the live-action adaptation of Ghost in the Shell [GSHEL] starring Scarlett Johansson [SJOHA] as Motoko Kusanagi the Major and Pilou Asbaek as Batou.  The 1995 anime classic has influenced countless sci-fi films, most prominently The Matrix.  Directed by Rupert Sanders, Ghost in the Shell arrives in theaters on March 31st.

Sony Animation has revealed the teaser trailer for the fully-animated Smurfs: The Lost Village [SMRF3].   The voice cast includes Demi Lovato as Smurfette, Joe Manganiello [JOMAN] as Hefty, Jack McBrayer as Clumsy and Danny Pudi as Brainy, with Rainn Wilsonn [RAWIL] as the voice of Gargamel.  Smurfs: The Lost Village opens in theaters on April 7th.

As all the new arrivals underperform at the box office, Sully [SULLY] held on to the top spot with an estimated $22.0 million.  The drama declined 37% from its debut to bring its totatl to $70.5 million.

Blair Witch [WOODS] opened in second place with $9.7 million.  The true sequel to The Blair Witch Project drew an audience that was 56% male and 61% over the age of 25.

Bridget Jones's Baby [BJON3] grossed $8.2 million to debut at the third spot.   The romantic comedy sequel skewed 79%...
