A24 has revealed the official trailer for the horror film The Front Room [FRTRM] from writer/director Max and Sam Egger. Brandy stars as a young, newly pregnant couple who is forced to take in an ailing estranged stepmother, played by Kathryn Hunter. The Front Room arrives in theaters on September 6th.
Searchlight has dropped the teaser trailer for the comedy A Real Pain [ARLPN] written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg [JEISE] who also stars with Kieran Culkin [KCULK]. The two play cousins taking a trip to Poland in order to honor their grandmother. Old tensions resurface against the backdrop their family history. A Real Pain opens in theaters on October 18th.
Paramount has unleashed the teaser trailer for the horror sequel Smile 2 [SMIL2]. Naomi Scott [NSCOT] stars as a pop singer about to embark on a world tour when she begins experiencing terrifying events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control. Smile 2 opens in theaters on October 18th.
Sony Pictures Classics has unveiled the official trailer for the self-titled biopic Kneecap [KNECP]. The Irish trio play themselves. Written and directed by Rich Peppiatt, Kneecap hits theaters on August 2nd.
Bleecker Street has revealed the official trailer for the comedy The Fabulous Four [TFAB4] starring Bette Midler [BMIDL], Susan Sarandon [SSARA], Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Megan Mullally. The Fabulous Four hits theaters on July 26th.

Studiocanal has released the international trailer for the sequel Paddington in Peru [PADT3], the third installment in the family film series based on the children's book. Ben Whishaw [BWHIS] voices the bear who returns home to Peru along with the English family that adopted him. Paddington in Peru opens in the UK in November, but won't be released in the U.S. by Sony until January 17, 2025.
The theatrical business is far from dead as the animated sequel Inside Out 2 [INOU2] hauled in an estimated $150 million, the second highest opening for animated movie of all-time behind Incredibles 2’s $182.6 million in 2018. The Pixar flick skewed female at 62% with Hispanics making up 40% of the audience.
Universal has dropped the second trailer for the animated The Wild Robot [TWRBT] from DreamWorks Animation. Lupita Nyong’o [LNYON] voices a robot that crashed on an uninhabited island. It learns to adapt to survive by gradually building relationships with the animals on the island. The film also features the voices of Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Bill Nighy, Kit Connor, Stephanie Hsu, Mark Hamill, Matt Berry and Ving Rhames. Vyjayanthi Network has released the official trailer for the Indian sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD [KALKI] in both Telugu and Hindi language. Based on Indian mythology but set in the future, Kalki was the tenth and final avatar of the Hindu deity Vishnu. Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika star in the film written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Kalki 2898 AD opens in theaters on June 27th.
