you are confusing yourself... sorry.
today, I woke up and saw that price was exactly $4 IPO price. I had it shorted. I figured, lets have some fun. I covered my short, then bought it. Price moved up to $4.08. the next trader saw it was up, did the same thing (and keep in mind it was about 20 to 1 ratio of shorts vs longs) creating a short squeeze. whole bunch of other traders started loosing money, creating even better pop. now I am not going to tell you how I am holding the stock now, cause it would be call for action, but things like that happen all the time...
keep your eyes open and have some fun. this is just a game :)
