WBROX is supposed to invest in Warner Bros. upcoming releases. But have a look at what the fund is holding.
Here's Warner's upcoming spring/summer schedule - 42, GATSB, HNOV3, SUPR2, CNJUR, XERXE, WEMIL and GETAW. WBROX is not holding those moviestocks. I don't think WBROX is holding any moviestock that has a release date.
Instead, it has a lot of max investments in projects that have been in development forever and will probably never happen - DEADM, DNOTE, DOZEN, FH451, FMRON, HSBOX, ISWYD, LETHW, and many many more.
That's not just poor management - the fund manager is ignoring the fund's mandate of investing in movies being released by the studio.
