I've been going through the (massive) list of Starbonds and looking for the ones that qualify...
The simplest answer that I've been starting with is that they must be considered a "Lead" or a "Main" for at least a season. Recurring and Guest Stars won't qualify unless they are in every episode and have an important storyline. However, that can be tricky with some of the new anthology-type shows. For example, I think Angela Bassett would qualify since she's been in every episode of American Horror Story for 2 seasons now but she may still be billed as a guest star just due to name cache. If somebody is a in every episode, they are a main even if FX wants to bill them differently. haha
In other words, for at least a season, if you watched this show, you expected to see the person in every episode. I have been using IMDB and Wickipedia to qualify these terms. For example; Peter Dinklage would qualify for Game of Thrones but not for Nip/Tuck even though he was in 7 episodes of that show.
As can be expected, there will be some grey areas and that is why I will give occasional updates on the board (all in one post as to not clutter). This actually has two beneficial reasons from my perspective; First that I figure some traders like to dig into the details and second that I'm hoping this fund will turn some folks on to some TV shows that they may have missed. For example, if Michael Chiklis ever reprised his role as The Thing in The Fantastic Four (I sure hope he doesn't), maybe somebody would learn about the excellent FX show "The Shield."
I'm also open for dialog about this stuff so if somebody sees a MS or a SB that they don't think fits and they ask, I'm more than willing to hear the reason, say mine, and see which makes the most sense. This fund will not depend on any single SB or MS to thrive and I am cool with selling back if I make a mistake. Of course, I'll be doing my due dilligence to not makes mistakes but I'll always be open to hearing about it if I do. I want this to be fun for everybody and hopefully make a little coin for you all in the process.
