Generally for me... I don't play the calls or puts on openers... but usually just the movie itself...
I find (for ME) I enjoy guessing how (of if) the movie will adjust up or down... after 11 years here, it's still one of the most fun parts of the game to me.
Actually I like having HSX halt the movie stocks on Saturday... they used to also do this in the early days of HSX, so if you hold the stock wrong, you can log on in time, and change your position, reverse it, etc... (IF it's cost effective)
I'm usually logging on sometime in the earlier hours (HSX time) and checking to see if numbers have been posted, that way I can adjust my positions (if needed) and do any trading on the openers prior to HSX halting the stock...
Other than that..you just have to be aware of how you hold the openers..and be quick to make adjustments to those holdings based on the early numbers that hit Saturday mornings (via HSX time).

Yes... the derivatives (calls, puts, OWs) are halted, but I can adjust my position on the stock early Sat morning Apr 06, 13:41
