That's extremely well written...I don't think I could put together such a good thesis/arguement style paper when I was that age...I just tended to ramble on and find myself exploring odd tangents while using wildly out of place fancy verbiage for no reason. Do you know how much time she spen on this and if she did multiple drafts/edits? Good job on her!
Of course, it's kinda sad to see one so young, yet so jaded and cynical. Oh well, she's a teenager growing up in a pop culture world. In THAT respect, I know I was just the same when I was that age.
Oh, and you should totally introduce her to Joseph Campbell. Then she'll see that EVERYONE is unoriginal and telling the same story over and over again.
