No SWEAV, No ALIE5

Posted by: SCIFund on Mar 07, 11:55 in response to Fox's post So about that whole Alien thing, Neil . . .

SWEAV is already attached to the movie and so is expected to be Michael Biehn.  Without SWEAV there is no movie and the ALIE5 MovieStock will fall like a load of bricks.

I did think that the SWEAV comment about getting her "walker" was funny but near true.  I think they have played out the Alien Series way past it's prime.  If the movie is a go I think that SWEAV will not hesitate to be in it if the price is right for her pocketbook.  Chappie will make no difference in that decision.  Look at all the box office flops even the best of actors do.  They shake it off and move on.

Personally I think you will see an increase in MovieStock price tomorrow...and then you will watch it do a long downward spiral until much closer to box office time.

So about that whole Alien thing, Neil . . . {nm} Fox Mar 07, 09:56

They are definitely breaking out in a cold sweat right now {N {nm} dwip18 Mar 07, 10:00

Alien is a brand at this point. Chappie just looked stupid and it had an awful title. {nm} Hersheybar Mar 07, 10:23

no way fox can go with him now. RT score+cinemascore+OW are all just too low. it would doom public/critic perception right from the start {nm} islander Mar 07, 10:23

Given SWEAV was in CHAPI, might that hurt the chances of getting her to do ALIE5? She might not take too lightly to that and walk away. ~JPV~ Mar 07, 10:35

You mean limp away with her walker {nm} Chateau_du_Mal_Voisin Mar 07, 11:01

You mock but she looks damn good for her age. {nm} ~JPV~ Mar 07, 11:05

+1 {nm} pennystocks2 Mar 07, 11:19

So did George Burns. {nm} Chateau_du_Mal_Voisin Mar 07, 12:02

rimshot {nm} Dorfman Mar 07, 14:14

She runs 10 miles or more every day. That makes me wonder if she or you would be the one limping. {nm} jdaniel Mar 07, 11:28

She hasn't looked good since Avatar. {nm} Chateau_du_Mal_Voisin Mar 07, 12:02

and she didn't look that good in avatar.. Try Ghostbusters 1.. not 2.. lol {nm} Dorfman Mar 07, 14:14

I find it a little hard to believe she is running close to a 1/2 marathon daily. {nm} Hersheybar Mar 07, 12:04

I run between 5-8 miles a day and I'm 59. I would run more but can't fit anymore running into my daily routine. So jdaniel Mar 07, 12:22

You mean you don't sit on your butt all day playing HSX like I do? :-) Good for you! {nm} pennystocks2 Mar 07, 12:43

My mistake. My wife corrected me. SWEAV said she runs up to 10 miles a day which is a big difference from my misquote. jdaniel Mar 07, 15:47

A lot of stars are in CRAPI movies then their next movie is a blockbuster. This is no different. Every movie can't be great. pennystocks2 Mar 07, 11:18

21 hours ago she was happy about it with Blomkamp (see link) Chateau_du_Mal_Voisin Mar 07, 12:06

NBLOM will bounce back from CHAPI like MBAY bounced back from ISLND with TFORM & knock ALIE5 outta the park! {nm} Richard In G Mar 07, 10:40

Still like the designs he made, just go with another director. {nm} budice Mar 07, 10:54

No SWEAV, No ALIE5 SCIFund Mar 07, 11:55
