Was before I was born. Did public sentiment at the time clamor for a sequel? If that came out today, I'd be hard pressed to make another.
I'm not at all opposed to sequels, but there needs plenty more of the story to explore and develop. When it comes to TV shows, you're looking at story arcs that have often developed and resolved over the course of many years. Case in point - I was a huge 'Friends' fan, one of the best sitcoms of all-time, IMO, but wouldn't be excited if they ever annouced a movie. It went out on top and would approach any such project with trepidation because I don't see it adding to its legacy.
