You see just how out of touch with reality people are. It is incredible, the guy turns what's supposed to be a tribute to the business that's made him a huge success, he turns it into something completely about him and nobody else but him. 

I'm not sure which was worse; the slap itself and him smirking on his way back to his seat, looking as pleased as can be about himself, or afterward, sitting back down and screaming profanities on live television in a stunned silent theater filled with that level of celebs within your industry. 

The repurcussions of this will be discussed for a very long time. 

Next stop.....rocket science!
