Jaws: A+.
This was simply one of the best screenings I've attended in 2022. To be able to see the amazing film, on this giant screen, with a large audience; it was a complete thrill. The movie is better than ever, it had the audience from the first sounds of the Tuba.
I was a touch worried before the lights went down; there were a couple of large groups of young guys, late teens/early twenties, that came marching into the theater, and they were typically loud from the time they sat down all the way through the trailers. But they loved the movie from the very beginning, and it ended up being stock still in there. The movie owned the audience completely.
Wonderful. Thrilling. The audience gave the film a huge round of applause, and as we walked out there were several people saying what a great movie it was, and how blown away they were by seeing it there.
Kudos to IMAX. Just wonderful to show this there. It made our week.
