Will have a better idea after it premieres in London on the 6th, so far it looks to have great sales in PLF but it's not spilling over yet
Standard 3D Sales and 2D sales are very soft. So while it definitely is performing like a giant Marvel film in large format for advance sales, it's not for standard performances, but on the other hand, usually 3D sells less tickets.
If it's in line (quality wise) with the original, I don't think it's going to have issues, (RT 70's/80's, the first is 82% with both critics and general audiences. but knives are going to be out for it if it's a step down) if it's significantly less well received then it definitely could be in trouble.
