1. The crowd for this movie are infrequent moviegoers who aren't used to unusually busy films having issues.
2. Theatre chains have cut staffing to the bone (and or can't find employees) and so while pre-2019 there may have been experienced staff and or on-site projectionists, a lot of those are gone now, so when something goes wrong, they can't fix it and they can't communicate it to irate patrons. Something like playing/programming the wrong DCP version is very easy to do.
3. With the heat wave even the NICE crowds can get easily riled up if AC goes out, and well, jerks are 100x worse.
4. Some people are making it up/fabricating things for likes/views. That guy who claimed to be an AMC employee who was fired for not putting a mystery liquid in Sound of Freedom drinks as a sh*post joke got over 2 million views on his tweet.
5. Also Conspiracy Fan Club Members seeing this.
