I ended up spending like $70 to see it in CT when it first opened during the pandemic, and then I saw it again in regular 70mm (not IMAX)
when NYC movie theaters reopened... and i have a bluray of it too, just as an awards screener. I didn't love it but I did find that it was better with multiple viewings because it's an even tougher sci-fi concept than Inception (or The Prestige, for that matter). It's kind of funny to think of Nolan's Batman movies as some of his most grounded ones. I'll probably rewatch Dunkirk on Peacock too
I noticed yesterday that quite a few Christopher Nolan movies are now on Peacock...but not Oppenheimer yet. Irony? {nm} Feb 02, 05:38
