Even though I've been a paid film critic for over 20 years, I just don't understand why my fellow critics can't understand the concept of movies that aren't made specifically for them. It's great when they glom onto something like Anatomy of a Fall or Zone of Interest to push or pimp, but 90% of Americans (if not more) will not care for those movies. The Beekeper on the other hand... and I'm not sure how anyone can see American Society of Magical Negroes and not consider it original.
According to my calcs, Lisa Frankenstein is dropping from 2nd place last weekend to 8th or 9th place Feb 17, 08:00
