I am speaking of MY experience and MY observations.  Opinions generally occur in the space between ignorance and knowledge, and CAN be wrong.  "follow the science".  "I did the research".  LOL

One of the things that bothers me is when a movie is Oscar winning, and sucks.  Everyone but the critics seemed to know it sucked, but it was touted at the Oscars because of its originality or some such nonesence.  What makes a movie good/bad is certainly in the eye of the beholder, but I feel that sometimes critics are not seeing the same movie as I am, or there are politics at play. 

It's a personal perspective.  One does not need to get too concerned about it...
