It's not going to get any oscars, but neither did Kubrick. Or Blade Runner. Or Under the Skin. Or any of Lynch's stuff (until they finally did an honorary one...), or hundreds of other artistic achievements that will have far more enduring cultural impact beyond the cause celebs of elitist circle jerks.
