Movies

I sure hope i fall for a couple of these year end movies. Otherwise.....meh. So: What's your number 1 in theaters right now

Outside of the many, MANY screenings of old films, every which way i can on those; this year's crop has just about nothing that I truly fell head over heels with. 


There are still several films I have not seen that I want to. 

Wicked
Flow
The Order
The Brutalist
All We Imagine...
A Complete Unknown (I'm an enormous Dylan guy. Huge.)
Nosferatu
BabyGirl

And a few others. So there are still plenty of opportunities for me to fall head over heels. But so far, I'd say the two animated films, Bad Robot and Inside Out 2, are among the best films I've seen, and while i enjoyed both very, very much; I thought both were slightly lesser versions of other films (The Iron Giant and the original Inside Out). I thought both of those were very strong though. 

I always have a pretty huge break at the end of the year (tacking on personal days with our company's shutdown), and it's always a great time, from Christmas Day forward (everything is jammed up until then), to catch several things. Keeping my fingers crossed for something truly special. 

What's your number 1 in the theaters right now?
