I'm sure it's made good money for Paramount in the long term between home entertainment, cable, streaming, and repertory screenings in the 17 years since then, but yeah, PTA, as much as critics and cinephiles love him, he's yet to have a monster blockbuster... then again, this is his first movie with Leonardo DiCaprio, who is a box office A-lister for a reason.
