For many years I referred that intersection to my friends as "maybe my favorite place on Earth".

Amoeba and The Arclight. It was fantastic.

Walk into Amoeba for a few minutes to whet the appetite, then go over and watch a flick at Arclight, knowing I'm going back over to Amoeba for an hour or two to browse.

We've made an endless number of trips up to town to experience just that. Wish we were still doing it.
