Amoeba Music exited their store several years back, they moved from Sunset up to Hollywood Blvd. The old place just sits there untouched.

The whole Arclight facility (both the Dome and the multiplex) continue to just sit there and slowly rot. 

The public dearly wants at least the Cinerama Dome to reopen. The whole multiplex SHOULD reopen. Bean counters and their visions. 

The Dome is a Los Angeles designated historical landmark; this does NOT necessarily eliminate the possibility of demolition; but it definitely makes demolition increasingly difficult. 

This just continues to be increasingly frustrating for SoCal movie lovers. It's now been over 5 years since the Dome shut down. Petitions have been signed; famous film people have spoken, declaring the need for the theater to continue to operate; it goes on and on and nothing happens. 

Bean counters and their dreams. Probably dreaming of some other high rise that could be there someday. 

My head hurts.
