reopening Arclight is the only way that whole area is going to recover in value. the old Ameoba building was supposed to be high rise condos
by now and it's still sitting there empty unchanged. and CNN vacated its HQ down the block to move operations out to Burbank. same with the Jack In The Box site across the street. they've torn down the building but no new construction on the condos has begun. nothing in that area is going to really have momentum until the Arclight foot traffic comes back
