Yeah, that's pretty much all I can say too haha.
I just thought that your reasons for this movie doing well were a little off.
But now that you bring twitter up.. as I recall, tracking on twitter for WALS2 was pretty good, and we were all longing WALS2. Ironically, profiles bombed as WALS2 bombed, so I'm not sure twitter is the best measure =/. I haven't checked the facebook page, but even if it had a good number of people "attending", it still depends on whether or not there is good WOM.
I'm also kinda losing faith in critics now. They gave such low grades for good quality comedies in the past, and it's a shame. They gave lots of A+ for that blue alien film, and that looked like nothing special either (CGI aside). So it's hard to judge from the critics. They kinda hated on IRNM2, but man that still made quite a killing during opening weekend.
P.S. This is kinda off topic but uh... Megan Fox is pretty famous now, but her movies haven't been extraordinary. I doubt many people have heard of that Jesse Eisenberg guy, so we can't really base success on his acting either =/. Just my two cents.
