1. The quote references an across the board cut in the individual marginal tax rate of 20%. That would be for everyone not just the wealthy. The loopholes are closed for the the wealthy so it is a net wash. It just simplifies the tax code and makes items permanment, which will encourage investment...people are too shy with their money because the Obama Administration prefers temporary solutions that businesses cannot properly plan for.
I highly recommend this link to Romney's tax plan.
2. Ok . . . both sides have their think tanks.
3. We can do a think tank comparison on this as well. I know many business owners and they have not incorporated, or just not to until they were compelled for other reasons (protections under the law for LLC/Corps). It is a tried and true statistic that if you tax at 100% the income of persons earning more than $250k, you will not be able to cover the government's bills. Cato Article
4. I think we can play with semantics all day. Here is a related Forbes Article.
5. I look forward to a time when we are not absorbing the cost of two wars, a stupid prescription mandate that conservatives should NOT have pushed for, and the stimulus enacted under Obama. We have to start cutting programs. Its not popular and people who take advantage of these programs will complain. But take money from private and foreign investors (i.e., China) is just wrong. Let's get our house in order.
Democrats often talk about a balanced approach. In every case where they have proposed tax increases coupled with spending cuts, the cuts never materialized. We wonder why Republicans are not willing to entertain the idea. Fool me one, shame on you...fool me twice...well you get the idea.

In the quotation, all of the things pointed out were the opposite of what candidate Romney has said for the past 3 years.

I believe that most people agree on ~95% of everything. It's the remaining 5% that we're willing to kill one another over.
