He should have shot him in the head when he first encountered him on the planet and be done with it. I don't understand why he kept him alive. What was the point? So you can have this big dramatic killing later. That to me is worse than wimpy.
And I guess I didn't ge the drama the 2nd time. If the portal hadn't been open yes that would have been great, but when you (supposedly) have only a few seconds left you don't do this slow dawn out scene when you could be stuck on the planet. But the show ignored the time constraints they had previously made a point establlishing so they could have this dramatic killing. And for me both these things make the killing stupid not dramatic.
