Yeah I was really into season one then SHIELD fell apart with Cap2 and been off and on since. I really like Ward..
They could have done so much more. The whole infiltration by HYDRA destroyed the show. It should have been a secret organization they fought and more along the lines of XFiles each week finding a new super or artifact etc and build up the roster of heroes, villians and ancillary characters, hinting along the way about HYDRA then do Hydra big time with the return of Red Skull in Cap 2..
This is just too convuluted and if you miss a few episoded you're totally lost..
To me the writers wanted to make a statement against the survellance state so they destroyed SHIELD. Pity they could have introduced AIM, HYDRA, The Serpent Society, HAMMER, Hand, etc and created others.. I liked the beginning with Centipede thought that was going to lead into AIM but they ruined that with IM3
