Exactly why tariff was needed. Whirlpool cost cutting due to previous poor performance. They believe tariff will help them rebound. .

Whirlpool has not participated in Trump Mkt. Dow up 31% since 12/1/16. Whirlpool slightly down to even. Poor performance relative to market.

Regardless, you get winners and lowers out of tariffs, and the losers always outweigh the winners.
