That's quite simplistic, but why do you believe stock buyback is inherently bad? The other thing y'all are missing is maybe no one pays

higher prices, maybe we get goods from Vietnam or South Korea or Malaysia instead.

You're also missing the point that the Mexican tariffs are the only means left to a President to attempt to stop the insanity that is our non-border without Congress doign its job.

You're also wrong about wages, they ARE rising, ESPECIALLY for the lowest paid workers. And they would be rising faster if we didn't keep importing cheap illegal workers.

Please 'splain your logic: The same people who say tariffs are a tax on individuals because companies will just pass them on forlorne Jun 03, 11:08

Where did I say buyback is bad??? I'm just saying corporations are using their tax reductions to buy back stock and options... Lukasck Jun 03, 14:26

Also funny that you say tariffs are just passed on to consumers, then gripe that corporations don't pay enough taxes. forlorne Jun 03, 14:00

What's funny is you coming up with these false equivalence. {nm} Antibody Jun 03, 14:17

What specifically is false about them? Corporations pass on tariffs to consumers (true unless they find a different source), yet forlorne Jun 04, 09:59

Corporate taxes are on companies' profits. They don't give their extra profits to consumers. What's the contradiction? {nm} Antibody Jun 04, 10:26
