James Van Der Beek stars as an FBI agent in the thriller Formosa Betrayed. When a Taiwanese professor in the U.S. is murdered, he goes to Taipei to investigate. Once there, he finds an international conspiracy involving the U.S. State Department and the Nationalist Chinese Government. Co-star and screenwriter Will Taio is a former international economist who worked under the Clinton and Bush Administrations. The film is directed by Adam Kane.
