Description

The Broadway musical based on the film by John Waters Hairspray will itself get a big screen treatment. The story focuses on Tracy Turnblad who becomes popular in the late sixties on a TV dance show. Tracy teaches her friends and peers the importance of integration and even wins the heart of the local hunk. Adam Shankman directs the musical scipted by Mark O’Donnell and Thomas Meehan.
