A former Miss Orange County and Miss Los Angeles, Michelle Pfeiffer began her career in the early 1980's with Grease 2. She earned critical acclaim with her role in 1983's Scarface. Pfeiffer received her first Oscar nomination in 1988, for her supporting role in Dangerous Liaisons, followed by a nomination for Best Actress in The Fabulous Baker Boys a year later. In 1992, Pfeiffer gave a memorable performance as Catwoman in Batman Returns, while also scoring her third Oscar nomination, for her lead role in Love Field. The surprise success of 1995's Dangerous Minds showed Pfeiffer's bankability.
