A staple of '80s pop/rock, Jon Bon Jovi and Co. set a standard for all bands in spandex and teased hair to follow. Even though Jon continues to record and tour with the band, he has slowly but surely made a move into Hollywood. The New Jersey rock star has made a nice crossover into films and garnered some good notice along the way. In particular, it was 1998's No Looking Back where Bon Jovi more than held his own opposite Lauren Holly and Edward Burns. In 2000, he will star in the World War II submarine action flick U-571 with Harvey Keitel, Bill Paxton and Matthew McConaughey and in the schoolboy drama Pay It Forward with Helen Hunt, Kevin Spacey and Live Schreiber. Other past performances for the rock star include Homegrown, The Leading Man, Little City and Moonlight and Valentino.
