John Lithgow has had a varied career both dramatically and comedically from Broadway to the small small screen and on to the silver screen. Lithgow starred in 1982's The World According to Garp earning his first Academy Award nomination for this performance. Lithgow has since been in dozens of films including Footloose, Terms of Endearment, Harry and the Hendersons, Rasing Cain, and A Civil Action.
