Description

Miss Congeniality stars Sandra Bullock as an FBI agent who goes undercover as Miss New Jersey, and who must stop a group that threatens to bomb a national beauty pageant. Donald Petrie directs from a script by Marc Lawrence, Katie Ford and Karen Lucas. Warner Bros. had won a bidding war for the script in late 1997. Miss Congeniality is Lawrence's second script to star Bullock, following 1999's Forces of Nature.

Benjamin Bratt will play Bullock's love interest in the comedy which also co-stars Michael Caine, William Shatner, Ernie Hudson, and Candice Bergen.
