Renny Harlin is a high-profiled action director with such works as Deep Blue Sea, Cliffhanger, Die Hard 2, and Nightmare on Elm Street under his belt. Harlin was born Lauri Mauritz Harjola in Riihimaki, Finland, in March 15, 1959.
