Based on the novel "Winterdance" by Gary Paulsen, Snow Dogs tells the story about a writer in the midst of midlife crisis who learns about his biological father. When his father turns out to be a great dog-sledder and an exemplary woodsman, the writer decided to go to Minnesota and carry on his father's legacy. Cuba Gooding Jr. takes the lead role with Jordan Kerner and Chris Whitaker producing for the National Geographic Avnet-Kerner Co. Brian Levant directs the Buena Vista film.
