opening and their adjusts. I usually recommend no more that half your resources in StarBonds.
The best bang for the buck is based upon dROI which is a formula that combines percentage to be gained with time.
Gaining H$ 10 on a bond valued over 100 is not a good a buy as gaining 5 points on a bond worth 15. Of course, the faster the better.
KaiGee has a website that lists all adjusting bonds that can be sorted by any of the coluns, but I personally prefer dROI. If you click on the link, the first listed is a double adjust and the dROI is not correct (click on the individual name to get a better idea) but the next in line will lose almost half its value in less than a week.
Concentrate on high dROI with short term adjusting and you will do well.
When there is no adjust in sight, the StarBond movement is haphazard and bears no relationship with reality. There was a discussion on the Stars board about a bond that had risen in value way beyond its highest possible next adjust. Eventually it will correct, but in the meantime, a smaller portfolio, such as yours, should stay away.
A general primer is that just because a Star is in a hit movie, that does not mean that the bond will adjust upwards. Just because a movie did not do well at the box office does not mean that a bond will adjust downwards. Why is that? It has to do with what movie is being replaced in the TAG. Did it have a greater Box Office total than the new movie replacing it in the TAG? or was the previous movie a limited movie of very little Box office?
ROAGE is a disappointment. Yet friom KaiGee's chart, of 10 attached StarBonds, 3 are red (short) and 7 are green (long) MAKER is losing CPLRT (over 109 M) and ABALD is losing MBFSG (19.15),
The formula for 2 movies (a+b)/3 and 3 movies (a+b+c)/3 means that the third in a TAG simply adds 1/3 of its Box Office to the TAG. Thus, JHOUGH adds 1/3 of the total for ROAGE, whatever the total is, to her TAG.
In all cases, once you know the EAP...Estimated Adjust Price.... you then have to compare the Current Price to the EAP.
Hang in there. At this point, just dip your toe, do not go all in.
