I look at it this way: MY request causes the price to move, and, the request movement is registered before the trade is executed.
And, a certain number of trades are executed -- or a certain amount of time must pass -- before a batch of them are posted to the game space. So, yeah, other trades could negate the movement that your own trade caused. Or, maybe the trading system does long-term moving averages of prices, and "decides" that your trade was not enough to move the price, after all.
Do yourself a favor and turn off trade confirmations. Then, fuggetaboutit.
