More money means more opportunities, you can buy more stocks, but that also means more exposure - you are more likely to have one stock going up whilst another is going down.
There are various things you can do to keep your port gowing:
- Expand your starbond criteria (If you are looking at 1% DROI, expand to 0.75%DROI)
- Expand your openers criteria (Start look 2, 3 or 4 weeks in advance)
- Don't hold on to vanity stocks - once you've made your profit, sell/cover and move on
- Slow bleeders - stocks in development hell with no news will slowly lose value (There is a risk here as if they suddenly get news they will rise in value)
- Play the players - see if you can identify any patternsin how the market works and use that to predict what may happen
- Keep some cash free to react to news
