The last 3 weeks of August I lost over $H3 million, and my rank fell by almost 200 points! This was by far the worst period I've experienced in more than 10 years on HSX.
There are many theories that are to explain this, and when I asked about them, I received many responses...to my demise I contested those responses and posted at least a dozen times lately citing cheating and manipulation instead of bothering to adapt my trading strategy.
By touting how my strategies have caused only upward gains over 10 years, it was revealed that I have moved incredibly slowly, which further caused responses to me that were quite unpleasant.
So, the other night, I literally sold EVERY security I own, costing me close to H$2 million in commissions and losing my Percentile position a tenth of a percent, which of course worsens my rank as well. I now own nothing, but I'm ready to 'start over' with my ~H$173 million by taking the advice from the very same people who commented negatively...because after all--all of their ports are in the billions having surpassed my net worth in much less time.
Thus, I will soon invest in StudioFunds and Derivatives again, I'll probably short some MovieStocks for the first time ever (as opposed to only longs), and I'll diversify into StarBonds but I'll only follow the trends and not hold them long enough for adjusts to take place. With that, daily interest from excess cash, and playing HSX games earning H$20K to $H70K per day and referring some friends to HSX my portfolio should top H$1 billion in less than 2 years max.
