Just reading the descriptions of those films makes me cringe. I need help! Surely one of those four films must be less worthless than the others! If no one helps, I might have to go with The Notebook. It has James Garner, who improves everything he is associated with, and Ebert gave it a good review, and that was before he started mainlining narcotics for surgical reasons. The other ones . . . Mandy Moore. . . Kevin Costner . . . and the Rodanthe plot summary sounds like it could have value only as the outline for a mid-length porno featuring Mandy Moore and Kevin Costner.
Barring some outstanding last-minute advice, The Notebook it is.
