Well, there has to be a law waiting to be well described at work here, something like: "as studios become more craven, the time between...
... a hit and its re-boot will approach zero." So, perhaps they should market "This Means War" as a reboot of "The Vow," because audiences have, by now, forgotten "The Vow," which is so "second week of February." Maybe "Ghost Rider 2" should really be thought of as a reboot of, oh, I don't know, how about "Safe House"?
