Hilarious that you target TLJ as some sort of disaster, as if the original trilogy is a work of art

The original trilogy is hokey with some awful characters and dialogue. But they're fun and came at a time when we were all young.

At least TLJ did interesting things with the characters, particularly with Luke which was the best part of the film and the new trilogy so far, and far better than TFA's tired retreading. If anything, the negative aspects of TLJ's performance (although your "fact" points miss out so much context, such as how China's market operates) may reflect the lingering feeling that TFA wasn't as good as expected.

And to defend Movie snob, he's a conservative and he has always been respectful to disagreements
