1. voldemort the present is not in the book, however, there are many more "backstory" rememberals that chronicle his pre-dark lord rise to power and quest for powerful objest to make into horcruxes. the closest to seeing him as he is now comes when he visits dumbledore asking for the position of the defense against dark arts professor
2. in the movie when snape and malfoy escape it is much different in the book. the adult order of the phonix have been alerted and arrived at hogwarts. ginny, ron, hermione, nevil, the weasley brothers, and other Dumbledors army (from last film/book) are fighting with them against many more death eaters. the oldest weasley brotehr gets bitten by the werewolf deatheater (that hairy one hanging with bella in movie), a weasley looses his ear - "from now on you'll be able to tell them apart" and nevil is badly hurt. no one realizes snape has killed D, and they let him pass. harry chases through the fight to go after him, and then pretty much the same. (except they hold a big funeral for D and harry knows 5 of the seven horcruxes he must find)
